DevFest is a global event organized by Google Developer Groups (GDGs) in various regions and countries worldwide. As per the Google for Developers website, over 500 GDGs will host DevFest events in 2023, covering a range of topics including AI, Android, Cloud, Data, DevOps, Flutter, Go, Kotlin, Firebase, and more. DevFest Berlin 2023

DevFest Berlin was an exceptional community-led, non-profit developer event that brought together world-class experts in Android, Web, and Cloud technologies in Berlin for a full day of sessions, workshops, and new tech showcases. The event took place on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Hedwig-Dohm-Haus as the main building, and Humboldt University as the side building for workshops.

DevFest Berlin was organized by various tech community groups in the city, including GDG Berlin, GDG Android Berlin, GDG Cloud Berlin, Flutter Berlin, Kotlin User Group, and Women TechMakers. The aim of the event was to celebrate the diversity of Berlin’s tech community and provide a platform for learning, networking, and inspiration. From my perspective, the event was a success, featuring a variety of technical and inspirational talks and workshops on topics such as Android, Web, Cloud, Flutter, Go, Kotlin, Firebase, AI, and more.

According to the organizers, there were 270 tickets sold, 200 attendees, 10 organizers, 20 volunteers including students, and 22 speakers.

The event was a success and by this video, I played a part in it by highlighting the incredible work of the organizers who managed to put it together on a tight budget.
